Netwave’s solution, based on Single Wire networking, combined with DSP-communication, creates an environment with no difference between VDR & S-VDR. The Capsule, which is developed in Netwave’s own laboratory, is compliant against the VDR as well as the S-VDR (MSC.163(78)) regulations. The only difference is the amount of instruments you would like to connect, creating a flexible system. As the Hardened Storage Server is following both IMO-regulations, you can use one supplier/solution for both retrofit as well as for new-builds & cruise ships.
